BGMI Unban has made the Indian community very happy and now that the game is back, its esports scene is again rising. The majority of the teams are back into the business again while few of them have retreated. As the BGMI community gains momentum with the formation of new teams, Gladiator Esports, a recently unveiled roster from Hyderabad, has stepped into the thriving Indian esports scene.
This team, featuring a mix of seasoned veterans and promising emerging talents, has been making significant strides in various tournaments since the resurgence of BGMI in the country. Now officially affiliated with Gladiators Esports, they aim to leave their mark in the competitive landscape.
A New BGMI roster, Named Gladiator Esports Announced With Renowned Players
The new introduced lineup includes the following players:
- Ammar Khan – Destro
- Nadar – Justin
- Parth Garg DeltaPG
- Pawan Kumar – Shogun
Formerly competing under the moniker Team Destro, the squad has actively participated in numerous tournaments following the Game’s relaunch. Their notable achievement includes securing the third position in the recently concluded Nodwin Gaming BGMI Pro Scrims 2023. This high-profile event featured 24 invited teams and a substantial Rs 8 lakh prize pool.
In their debut appearance as a team at the Nodwin Gaming BGMI Pro Scrims, Gladiators Esports showcased remarkable skill and resilience in the face of formidable competition. Despite the challenging nature of the competition, they secured the third position among the top BGMI squads in the country, earning a commendable prize of Rs. 80,000. This achievement signifies the initial steps of Gladiators Esports as they aspire to make a lasting impact on the Indian esports scene.
The squad also performed admirably in the Villager Esports Domin8R Series, finishing sixth. They are now one of the 24 semifinalists in the Skyesports Champions Series, competing for the Rs. 25,00,000 prize pool.
Destro, an experienced member of the scene, leads the crew. He has been fighting professionally since 2019, and in 2020 he will represent India at the Peacekeeper Elite Streamer Championship. He was also a member of Skylightz Gaming, with whom he won the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2021, the BGMI’s first major official esports event. He was most recently a member of Chemin Esports, along with Justin and DeltaPG. They have various honours as a team, including first place in the Skyesports Pro League and second place in the Rooter Invitational Series last year.
Finally, Shogun, a fresh face in the Indian esports arena, is set to make his debut on the tier-one stage with Gladiators Esports. The organization, driven by its mission to build a roster featuring a blend of seasoned tier-one players and promising talents, strategically scouted Shogun. Having actively engaged in tier-one scrims for a considerable period, Shogun’s consistent performance, coupled with his remarkable in-game technical skills, positions him as a player worth keeping an eye on. This marks a significant step for both Shogun and Gladiators Esports as they embark on this collaborative journey in the competitive esports landscape.
