The Brazilian powerhouse, Alpha7 Esports became the ultimate champions of the PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC 2024). The team maintained its form throughout the Main event and won the tournament with a 29-point lead over the second-place team, Reject.
This victory marks a significant milestone for Alpha7 Esports, which has faced disappointments in several major events over the past four years. Previously, they had secured second place in PMGO 2024, third place in PMGC 2023, fourth place in PMWI 2023, and fifth place in the PMWI 2023: All Stars Stage.
With five chicken Dinners in eighteen matches, it took Alpha7 157 points to win the tournament. Ultimately, the team received a total of $467K as Prize money.
Team Reject secured the runner-up position with 124 points, while Tianba also finished with 124 points to claim third place. Reiji from Team Reject, was instrumental in this success, earning the MVP award for his outstanding performance. With an impressive 33 kills and 7182 damage dealt across 18 matches, Reiji dominated the battlefield. His exceptional gameplay was rewarded with a $50,000 prize, while Reject as a team claimed $259,000 in prize money.

Yoodoo Alliance, the table toppers of the Group Stage stood in the fifteenth position with an average display. IHC Esports, winners of PMGC 2023 did not have a nice run in this tournament as they ended up in the 11th spot.
PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024: Prize Pool Distribution
Along with the $467,312.50 prize money, Alpha7 Esports earned 1,000 EWC club points, boosting their club position to 5th as of July 28. Two of their players, Mafioso and Revo, were rewarded as Gunslinger and Grenade Master, respectively
