The Summer Game showcases haven’t finished yet, with more still to come! The latest upcoming event is the Bandai Namco Summer Showcase 2024 at Anime Expo 2024. The event is scheduled to take place tomorrow and here are its details.

Bandai Namco’s Summer Showcase 2024 is set to take place at Petree Hall, LA on 5 Jully and kicks off at 5:30 PM PDT. It will be an hour-long event where we can expect a programming slate heavy with announcements, reveals and first looks at anticipated anime games. In-house attendees at Anime Expo will also have the exclusive chance to go hands-on with playable demos and experience immersive themed activations across various Bandai Namco booths.
So far, the publisher has announced that the showcase will provide updates for Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero, Gundam Breaker 4, Sword Art Online: Fractured DayDream and more, with surprises in store.
Bandai Namco first ignited excitement for Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero with an announcement trailer at The Game Awards 2023. Though a release date remained shrouded in mystery at the time, the game was confirmed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Steam). Fast forward to Summer Game Fest 2024, hosted once again by Geoff Keighley, and Bandai Namco has finally unveiled an October 11th release window.
Gundam Breaker 4 is the latest entry in the action game series where you get to customize and pilot your own Gunpla creations. The game was initially announced in February 2024 with a release date of August 29. Recently, the publisher has released a gameplay trailer for the game. Gundam Breaker 4 will be released for Nintendo Switch, PS5/4, and PC(Steam).
Sword Art Online: Fractured DayDream was revealed at Namco Partner Showcase in Feb 2024. The multi-player Co-op game later got an October 4 release window with a trailer. It will be set to release for PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X/S.
We can expect an extended gameplay reveal showcasing in-game characters, diverse modes, and developer insights. With such a dedicated time slot, minimal showcases seem unlikely. Get ready for a barrage of exciting game reveals from Bandai Namco beyond just SAO!
