The second day of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS 2024) Grand Finals concluded with Global Esports leading the table, amassing over 100 points in 12 matches. The Mavi-led team, which was in second place after Day 1, maintained their consistency. Their 18-kill victory on the Sanhok map has solidified their lead, putting them far ahead of other contenders.

Team XSpark secured the second spot with 89 points, thanks to their impressive gameplay and consistent performance, accumulating early eliminations. FS Esports claimed third place with 83 points, while IQOO Soul slipped to the fourth spot after leading on Day 1.

Raven Esports and Team Tamilas made impressive leaps on Day 2, climbing from 11th and 10th positions to 8th and 5th, respectively, each securing a chicken dinner to aid their ascent. Reckoning Esports and Venom Gaming are holding steady in 6th and 7th positions.

Veteran teams like Team 8bit, AARU, and Carnival Gaming need to find their rhythm as they sit in 9th to 12th place. The rest of the teams are the remaining teams, including Team Limra Esports, Mogo Esports, Vasista Esports, and Inferno Squad, which need a few good games to break into the top 8.

As the final six matches loom, teams feel a blend of anticipation, pressure, and determination. The stakes are high, decisions carry weight, and victory or glory awaits. Match 1 – Erangel

Team Reckoning, which finished second in the final match of Day 1, began Day 2 in seventh place. However, they turned things around in the first match of Day 2, winning with ten eliminations. Team 8 Bit also showed outstanding gameplay, grabbing 10 eliminations but finishing third. Meanwhile, Team XSpark made 8 eliminations but were eliminated early.

Match 2 – Miramar

Team IQOO Soul used a defensive approach in the second game, but they also effectively utilized their high-ground position in the final zone. In the end, they were able to secure five eliminations and another WWCD. Team Tamilas had an impressive performance with eight eliminations, but they were unlucky in the blue zone, finishing fifth place. MOGO Esports also secured eight eliminations but were eliminated early.

Match 3 – Sanhok

The small map of Sanhok saw a phenomenal performance from Global Esports, who achieved an 18-kill WWCD. Players Beast, Ninjaboi, and Mavi each secured 5 kills, while Slug added 4 to their tally. Team XSpark and Insane put up a good fight, securing 7 kills each. IQOO Soul and Venom Gaming also got in on the action with 5 and 4 eliminations, respectively.

Match 4 – Vikendi

FS Esports rebounded strongly on Day 2, winning Match 4 on Vikendi with 12 eliminations. Team AARU made tremendous progress, scoring 10 kills and finishing second. Raven Esports finished third with a single elimination, while Reckoning came in fourth with three kills.

Match 5 – Miramar

Team Tamilas achieved a much-needed win in the fifth match with a total of 9 finishes. They performed well until the end, leveraging their numerical advantage. Team AARU secured second place again with 5 finishes, following their 10-kill performance in the previous match. Carnival Gaming and Team XSpark each grabbed 9 kills, but their battles ended with eliminations in the seventh and eighth spots.

Match 6 – Erangel

Raven Esports seized the limelight in the final match, with an incredible 13 eliminations, demonstrating a great performance on Day 2 and gaining important placement points in previous games. Team Tamilas lost against Raven despite playing with intense intensity, but they still finished with nine finishes. With ten kills, MOGO Esports also had a fantastic performance. With five kills each, Team Insane and Global Esports enhanced the competitive environment.
