The first day of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS 2024) concluded with Team Soul clinching the top spot after six matches. The team struggled a bit in the early three matches but made a strong comeback in the fourth match of Vikendi where they secured a 15-kill win. That made them rise to the top and they maintained consistency till the end of the day.
Global Esports regained momentum in the final match of the day where the Mavi-led team clinched the victory with 15 finishes. They then secured the second spot with some notable performance in other matches. On the other hand, Team XSpark has maintained consistency in all matches which led them to the third position. FS Esports had a nice run in the early matches but they lost track in the last matches.
Other teams that are in the top 8 are Venom Gaming, Insane, Reckoning and 8Bit Esports. Experienced veterans like Team Tamilas and Carnival Gaming had not had a good day and they need to get stronger on Day 2.

Even though Team Reckoning secured the second spot in the final match of Day 1, the team was in the seventh spot after Day 1. However, Day 2’s first match was claimed by Team ReckoningEsports with 10 finishes. Team 8 Bit Esports had played well till the end with 10 finishes but was eliminated at the third spot. Team XSpark secured 8 eliminations but got eliminated early in the match.

Despite playing defensively, Team IQOO Soul had a nice high-ground position in the end zone. That helped them to get those 5 finishes and another WWCD in the finals. Team Tamilas secured eight finishes but the blue zone had become bad luck for them and ultimately they got out in fifth position. MOGO Esports also grabbed eight finishes but suffered an early elimination.

Match 3 saw an epic performance and battles in the small map of Sanhok, where Global Esports grabbed a whopping 18-kill WWCD. Beast, Ninjaboi and Mavi got 5 kills each, whereas Slug collected 4 kills in this match. Team XSpark and Insane had a nice run with each securing 7 kills each. It was FS Esports who claimed the victory in the fourth match of Vikendi with 12 eliminations. They came back stronger on Day 2 and maintained some consistency and ultimately scored the victory. Team AARU pushed themselves stronger, and having collected 10 kills to their name, they secured the second spot. Raven Esports secured third place by grabbing a single finish, while Reckoning took fourth place with 3 finishes.
Team Tamilas got their much-needed win in the fifth match with a total of 9 finishes. They performed nicely till the end of the match and had the advantage of numbers. Team AARU again secured second spot with 5 finishes in this match after their 10-kill showdown in the previous match. Carnival Gaming and Team XSpark grabbed 9 kills each but their battle ended with eliminations in the seventh and eight spots.
