After nearly three months of epic and intense competition, BGIS 2024 has entered the Grand Finals stage, narrowing the field to the top 16 teams. The Grand Finals are scheduled to take place from 28 June to 31 June 2024 with a whopping prize pool of Rs 2 Crores.
Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2024 (BGIS 2024) marks the third edition of this prestigious tournament organized by KRAFTON. The event commenced with The Grind, where 256 invited teams competed for 64 slots in the main competition.
Then, The BattleGrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 followed an intense multi-round format to identify the top 16 teams for the Grand Finals. Starting with 1024 teams from in-game qualifiers in early May, the competition whittled down competitors through successive rounds.
By Round 2, 512 teams, including top performers from The Grind, competed, followed by 256 teams in Round 3. The best 48 from Round 3 advanced to Round 4, joined by top-ranked teams from The Grind, ultimately narrowing to 64 teams.
Wildcard entries further refined the competition, leading to the Semi-Finals in June, where 32 teams in Week 1 and 24 teams in Week 2 battled it out. The top 8 teams from each semi-final week secured their spots, forming the final 16 teams set to compete for the championship title. Here are the sixteen qualified teams for the Grand Finals and the prize pool breakdown.
