THE BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SERIES was the first official open for all esports tournaments of BGMI. The competition had Rs. 1 Crore and a PMGC (PUBG MOBILE GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP) slot. Team Skylightz Gaming won the BGIS, and team TSM FTX came at the second spot. The slot for PMGC had been allotted for the winner of BGIS, but due to the unavailability of passports of the top three teams, Team GODLIKE went to represent India in PMGC.
2. Free Fire India Championship – FFIC
The Free Fire India Championship was the biggest Free Fire Esports tournament in India, with a massive prize pool of 7500000 rupees. Team Elite won the tournament with PVS Gaming coming in the second spot and the famous Total Gaming in the third spot. OLD MONK of team TSM won the overall MVP of the tournament. The top six teams were invited to the FFPL winter edition.

In the first spot comes the latest official tournament, THE BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE PRO SERIES(BMPS). Season 1 is the largest tournament in the prize pool in 2022. BMPS had a prize pool of 2 crore INR, equal to $256,042. Team Soul won the BMPS with clear dominance and marked the comeback of Team Soul in BGMI esports. Soul also got India’s PMWI (PUBG MOBILE WORLD INVITATIONAL) slot. OR esports finished at the second spot and is rumoured to get the second PMWI slot.
