The three-day-long finals of Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series (BMPS 2023) came to an end with Team Blind emerging victorious in the tournament in front of a 15,000 live audience and millions online. The team secured a total of Rs 40 lakhs prize money from the humongous Rs 1 Crore prize pool.
The Grand Finals of BMPS Season 2 made a significant presence in the Indian esports community with millions watching its live stream along with a huge crowd at the EKA Arena in Ahmedabad. It had set a massive record by becoming the biggest esports tournament ever in India to date.
Since their roster announcement in April 2023, Team Bling has been dominating with achieving victories in Domin8r, 3 Upthrust Esports events, Skyesports Champions Series, Skyesports Championship 5.0 and they have finished at number 4 at BGIS 2023.
Gladiators Esports is another team which has been dominating since its inception and has secured the second spot in this tournament.
Team Blind Makes a Dominating Victory at BMPS 2023

Blind Esports were the table toppers on Days 1 & 2 and eventually remained in their pole position to clinch the victory with 249 points with the help of two chicken dinners only. Gladiators Esports secured the second position, accumulating 221 points along with 3 chicken dinners, while Team iNSANE claimed the third spot with 176 points and 2 chicken dinners.
EntityxVST secured 158 points, although they didn’t secure any chicken dinners. Despite initially being positioned at 12th after Day 2, fan-favourite Team Soul made a remarkable comeback on Day 3 by claiming two chicken dinners, propelling them into the top 5 with a total of 158 points and 2 chicken dinners. Demonstrating consistent gameplay, 8BitxCS secured the sixth position with 140 points, including 2 chicken dinners. GlitchxReborn earned the seventh spot with 134 points, which included 68 finish points. Revenant Esports garnered 131 points and managed to secure 1 chicken dinner as part of their commendable efforts.
The tournament witnessed a total of 96 invited teams in the League Stage and only the above sixteen teams have made it to the Grand Stage of the tournament. It was held at EKA Arena with a live audience where the crowd came in huge numbers with the final day hitting a footfall of nearly 15,000 spectators.

To conclude, BMPS 2023 is a splendid tournament which proves the competition in the BGMI esports industry especially when newly formed teams like GlitchXReborn and Hydra putting up strong fights against the existing dominant teams. Team Godlike had a bad experience in this tournament as well in recent times and their coach, Ghatak has left the org after their elimination from the tournament.
