Unexpectedly, Dragonโs Dogma 2 comes with a higher price tag on PC in India compared to its console counterparts, a deviation from the usual trend. Typically, game publishers tend to offer AAA games at a lower cost on PC, often reducing prices by at least Rs. 500 to Rs. 1000. However, there has been a noticeable increase in regional game prices in recent years, exemplified by the notably high pricing of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League.
This development follows several months after Capcom president Haruhiro Tsujimoto expressed his belief that video game prices were “too low” during the Tokyo Game Show in September. At the event, Tsujimoto suggested that raising game prices would be a “healthy option” for the industry.
