Battlegrounds Mobile India, commonly known as BGMI and boasting a vast fan base in India, unveils its latest official anthem song. In a groundbreaking move, Krafton has joined forces with a Bollywood singer for BGMI’s new theme song, marking a significant collaboration between gaming and music for BGMI enthusiasts in the country.
The developers launched the song, titled ‘Jeeto,’ on October 31, featuring the vocals of popular Indian playback singer Benny Dayal. Alongside the theme song, written by 1080G, the official video showcases renowned BGMI content creators, including Mavi, Clutchgod, Kaashvi, Shadow, Dynamo, and Thug, energetically participating with Benny Dayal, incorporating their favourite in-game catchphrases.
The song is meticulously composed, capturing various BGMI features such as healing, headshots, and more. Additionally, the developers have introduced a Battle Beats contest, and we will delve into all the details regarding this exciting contest.
BGMI Battle Beats, a Music Contest Announced by Krafton
Krafton titled the new music contest as the Battle Beats and we all can participate in it at no cost. The contestants are given the chance to show their creativity by creating their own music video or remix of the track.
After the participants are done with their creations, they can upload their creations on Instagram with a public account while tagging BGMI and using the contest hashtag – #BGMIBattleBeats. Players should note that they must enrol their entry in the contest by filling out the Contest Entry Google Form, linked here.ย
The contest begins on November 1 and continues all along through November 25. The participants stand a chance to win exclusive rewards like UC giveaways as well as other in-game currencies and rewards.ย
As stated in the Press Release, BGMI is proud to introduce “Battle Beats” and looks forward to the outstanding remixes and music videos that the community will create, definitely expressing the spirit of the game. This initiative highlights the expanding influence of gaming in our culture as well as the BGMI community’s boundless creativity.
Speaking of the track, the community does not have the exact response as Krafton might have hoped for the new anthem. Few players hope for more UC events, Bonus Challenge and good items from crates(instead of time-limited items). However, there is now an official BGMI anthem, and you can expect to hear it at almost every esports tournament in the coming months.
This music concept was provided by the Banglore-based Marketing agency, The Silly Fellows. Altray (Ray Rajdip), a prominent music video director and short filmmaker, has directed the song video. Both groups got significant help from Good Fellas Studio, a Mumbai-based production company that has previously worked with The Silly Fellows on similar projects.
