Sound or audio plays an important role in gaming. Microsoft has launched a brand-new refreshed Xbox wireless headset. This new refresh comes with an upgraded microphone, improved battery life and supports Dolby Atmos at no additional cost alongside Bluetooth 5.3. Here are more details.
Microsoft Introduces New Xbox Wireless Headset
The all-new Xbox Wireless Headset was launched on October 22 in select Xbox markets worldwide for $109.99 ERP (Electronic Retail Price).
As mentioned above, this new model will have a battery life of up to 20 hours of playtime compared to 15 hours with the original model. Similar to the original, this updated model features rotating ear cup dials that allow you to change the volume and balance between audio and game conversation. Microsoft made minor exterior design changes, eliminating the green accent in favour of an all-black appearance.
The new headset also comes with an upgraded microphone featuring auto-mute and voice isolation to make communication clear. With Bluetooth 5.3 technology, you can connect it directly with Xbox consoles, PCs, and mobile devices. Another significant feature is the inclusion of Dolby Atmos at no extra cost.
For players who want even more control over their audio experience, the Xbox Accessories app offers deep customization options. Through the app, gamers can fine-tune sound profiles, microphone settings, and much more to match their personal preferences.
