Reckoning Esports has officially joined India’s inaugural franchised esports league, the Skyesports Masters CSGO. This Mumbai-based esports organization is gearing up to be one of the eight franchised teams vying for a portion of the impressive Rs. 2 Crores prize pool in India’s most significant gaming tournament.
As part of their preparations for the Skyesports Masters, Reckoning Esports is in the process of finalizing a five-man roster. In addition to this, the team is set to scout and integrate two players from the open-for-all Skyesports cafe qualifiers, which were originally scheduled to unfold across 20 cities nationwide. This strategic move reflects Reckoning Esports’ commitment to assembling a competitive and diverse roster as they enter the exciting realm of the Skyesports Masters CSGO.
Reckoning Esports Gets an Invite to Participate in Skyesports Masters CSGO Tournament Among Eight Other Teams
The Skyesports Masters, with its franchised format and grassroots-level cafe qualifiers, are aligned with the vision of Reckoning Esports to give underdog athletes a chance to excel. The organization believes in an extensive scouting process for all of its esports rosters and the Skyesports Masters grassroots-level cafe qualifier program allows Reckoning to do just that.
Commenting on joining the Skyesports Masters and signing a CSGO lineup, Sharang Naicker, Founder, of Reckoning Esports, said, โThe Skyesports Masters CSGO is an amazing initiative by Shiva and is a league which looks out for the teams to generate profit or at least break even. Commencing on July 1, the highly anticipated Skyesports Masters is poised to kick off with an exciting league stage, scheduled to unfold until August 17. Following this intense phase, the top four teams will secure their places in the Skyesports Masters Playoffs, a thrilling on-ground LAN event set to take place from August 26 to 27. The stakes are high for the eight competing teams, with a substantial total prize pool of Rs. 2 Crores hanging in the balance. As the tournament progresses, anticipation builds for the captivating journey that awaits these esports contenders in the quest for victory and glory.
