Skyesports strengthens Business Development team with Sashank Bhandaru and Shuchi Kulshreshtha

Leading South Asian esports tournament organizer, Skyesports has officially brought on board Sashank Bhandaru as the Head of Global Business Partnerships and Shuchi Kulshreshtha as the Head of Business Development and Strategy. Recognized figures in the realms of marketing and business partnerships, both individuals will spearhead Skyesports’ initiatives to establish itself as a centralized hub for both endemic and non-endemic sponsors aiming to fulfil their marketing objectives through esports.

Bringing a wealth of experience, Shashank boasts a 12-year tenure in the gaming industry, having most recently served as the India Marketing Head for GIGABYTE. His professional journey includes collaborations with notable companies such as SteelSeries, Razer, Cooler Master, and Xanova, where he played pivotal roles in product launches and elevating brand visibility through esports.

Shashank comes in with 12 years of expertise in the gaming industry and recently he served his work as the India Marketing Head for GIGABYTE. He has also worked with companies such as SteelSeries, Razer, Cooler Master, and Xanova to launch new products and increase brand recognition through esports.

Sashank Bhandaru, Head of Global Business Partnerships at Skyesports, commented on his new assignment., said, “I am extremely thrilled to embark on this new journey with Skyesports. Shuchi, on the other hand, has vast experience in sports business development. She is a Columbia Business School graduate with over 5 years of marketing expertise, having worked for the US Open and the legendary IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals. With this history, Shuchi knows the needs of non-endemic businesses and will be essential in facilitating their participation in esports.

The signing of these renowned professionals happens when Skyesports is going to host the biggest CSGO tournament in India with eight franchised teams with qualifiers taking place in 20 cafes in Major Indian cities. The tournament titled Skyesports Masters features Rs 2 Crore prize pool and they expanding globally. They will both use their knowledge to collaborate with like-minded brands in order to introduce esports to the public in India and beyond. Shuchi will also work with the Indian Premier League’s (IPL) Rajasthan Royals, one of the top sports franchises in the world, to help grow the Skyesports Masters similarly.
